Meet Natalia, Counseling Student Intern
Together, we’ll build skills that make everyday life feel more manageable.
I’m a Milwaukee-based Counseling Student Intern specializing in life transitions, anxiety & OCD.
Lately, it feels like everything is too much:
You’re mentally tired, overwhelmed by stress, and craving a sense of balance again.
I’m Natalia a counseling intern in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at The Practice MKE who supports young adult women experiencing anxiety, OCD, and chronic stress. Many of my clients feel mentally exhausted from constant overthinking, stuck in rigid routines, or overwhelmed by the pressure of daily responsibilities. I’m here to help.
Who I Work With
I work with young adult women who are navigating anxiety, OCD, and emotional overwhelm. Clients often come to therapy feeling scattered, drained, or unsure how to slow their thoughts and regain a sense of balance in their lives.
How I Support Clients
I provide a warm, supportive, and judgment-free therapy space where clients can feel heard and understood. Her work focuses on helping clients develop practical coping skills, healthier routines, and tools they can use outside of sessions to better manage stress and anxiety.
Areas of Focus
Anxiety
OCD
Chronic stress
Overthinking and mental exhaustion
My Approach
My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while learning practical strategies to manage anxiety and navigate daily challenges with more confidence.
Training & Supervision
I am currently completing my master’s degree in counseling and practicing under the supervision of Esperanza Winters, LPC. She offers therapy for young adult women in Milwaukee seeking support for anxiety, OCD, and stress.
Therapy with me is…
01 Supportive
You’re not doing this alone. You have someone who listens, helps you sort through what’s going on, and works with you to build skills that actually make life feel more manageable.
02 Fun
Therapy doesn’t have to feel heavy or intimidating all the time. Sessions can include lightness, warmth, and moments of laughter, even while working on hard things. It feels natural, not awkward or stiff.
03 Safe
You can share what you’re really thinking and feeling without fearing shame, pressure, or being pushed too fast. Sessions are steady, respectful, and paced with your consent. You know what to expect, your boundaries are honored, and the space is protected by confidentiality (with the standard legal limits).
04 Nonjudgemental
You don’t have to edit yourself or pretend to have it all together. You can talk about your thoughts, worries, habits, or mistakes without feeling shamed, rushed, or criticized.
